Awards & Reviews

The Wine Reviewer, Sept 2017 "An ever so light yellow in the glass with a youthful nose of melon, jasmine and lemon zest. A generous mouthfeel with nicely structured acidity that gives the wine definition but allows what is an attractive palate of passionfruit, green apple and musk to express itself. The finish has textural grip and varietal boysenberry fruit. Good value for money here91/100"

The Grape Hunter, Gilbert Labour, Aug 2017: "This 2017 Angullong SB pushes all the buttons of freshness, quality and value. Undeniable varietal traits of cool climate Sauvignon Blanc characters leap out fo the glass with abundant mouth-filling generosity. A very refreshing, well priced and enjoyable wine."

Q Wine, 2017:  "... Scents of pineapple, honeydew melon and passion fruit take centre stage with a supporting role played by cut herbs. That tropical fruit moves to a good beat in the mouth. It's fresh and crisp offering plenty of refreshment. Tick. Drink now. 91/100."

PS NEWS, John Rosentals, Aug 2017: "I reckon that Australia’s best sauvignons come from elevated climes such as Orange and the Adelaide Hills, and that they clearly outpace most of those from New Zealand’s Marlborough region. This dry white has plenty of palate depth and is a great match for fresh seafood...more."
